 National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame

Howard Linne

Inducted into the Hall of fame in 1996

 

     Howard Linne won the 1961 USAC Midget Owners Championship and has recorded 69 feature wins as a USAC owner which ranked him third in the all-time list at the time of his induction into the National Midget Hall of Fame.
     Known for multi-car entries, the Linne stable dominated the Valley Park,
 

 Missouri and Rockford, Illinois tracks and featured such drivers as Tony Bettenhausen, Bob Tattersall, Parnelli Jones, Mike McGreevy, Lee Kunzman and Henry Pens.
     Howard sold race cars and race car parts at his shop in Mendota, Illinois where he also owned a farm implement dealership.
